Spiced labneh

This one is my own recipe. A friend of mine came up with it about a month ago when she was over for dinner. It requires labneh or thick, slightly tangy yoghurt. However, full-fat Greek yoghurt is a quick and easily available substitute.


1 tub (500 gms) Greek yoghurt

1 teaspoon of dried mint

1 teaspoon of dried oregano

1 tablespoon of olive oil

salt to taste



Mix all the ingredients above in a shallow dish and serve with bits of pita bread.
